Disney+ relaunches on PS5 with 4K HDR playback support

Disney has brought back its streaming service app to the Sony PlayStation 5. And it brings with it 4K HDR playback, which wasn't available in the previous app. So, if you have the app on your console, it might be time to update. You can download the new PS5 Disney+ app from the media section of the homescreen.

Disney+ Day is coming and here's what we know so far!

Exciting news coming out of Disney+ with a ton of announcements for Disney+ Day! Subscribers to the streaming service will have access to additional content premieres globally on September 8 as well as celebrations across Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. New titles include Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Love and Thunder” and “Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return,” “Dancing with the Stars: The Pros’ Most Memorable Dances,” “Tierra Incógnita,” the “Frozen” and “Frozen 2” Sing-Alongs, and “Welcome to the Club,” a new short from The Simpsons.

Disney moves 'She-Hulk' episode releases to Thursday

When She-Hulk: Attorney at Law debuts on Disney+, it will come out on a new day. Disney has shifted the release to Thursdays, considering its upcoming heavily packed schedule. That includes September's new Star Wars series, Andor. So, beginning August 18, She-Hulk will drop at midnight on Thursdays.

Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner's cousin, who finds herself with Hulk powers of her own. This action comedy will focus on how she balances this new super ability with her career and love life.

BTS to get exclusive Disney+ content

BTS fans have a bunch of content to look forward to on Disney+. The streaming service announced a collaboration with BTS's label Hybe for what it describes as "five major content titles." At least three of those five titles will feature BTS in some form.
