We are coming down to the wire with holiday gifts—especially since we're mostly shopping online these days. To avoid delays and disapointments get hustling! This is not the year to be last minute shopping on Christmas Eve. Over the past few months we've explored some fun items to add to our gift guide. Of course if we can double up learning AND fun? We can make proudly high-five ourselves and claim the title of 'Parent of the Year'. STEM toys (or STEAM) for kids still continue to wow us and of course, our eyes turn to what games are out there. Xbox One continues 'greatest games line up in history' salvo with rash of premium titles

Xbox gamescom 2015 briefing, Microsoft showcased new game reveals for Xbox and Windows 10, extending the company’s greatest games lineup in Xbox history into 2016.  

The company debuted world-premiere gameplay of anticipated exclusives “Quantum Break,” “Crackdown 3,” “Scalebound” and “Killer Instinct Season 3.” 

Xbox also announced “Halo Wars 2” – an exciting new strategy game packed with fast-paced action, massive battles, and an all-new Halo story, coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 in fall of 2016. 

Arriving this fall, by popular fan request, DVR for Over-the-Air TV will come to Xbox One, in addition to new Xbox One console bundles for popular titles “FIFA 16” and “Halo 5: Guardians,” as well as the new Xbox Chatpad.

LEGO Jurassic World Game features Canadian Dino Hunters

The latest LEGO Jurassic World game has launched while the highly anticipated summer blockbuster movie is blowing us away in the theatres. The videogame (available for XboxOne, Xbox360, PS4, Playstation, WiiU, Nintendo 3DS, PSVITA) is the first where players are able to experience all four Jurassic films in LEGO settings.

Microsoft steps up games with greatest lineup in Xbox history

I'm a firm believer that, when it comes to gaming consoles, it is best to wait a year before diving in. This is the time that better games which can take full advantage of the hardware, come to market. It is also the time that pricing on the new consoles stabilizes a bit and there are more options for buyers. Proving this point, Microsoft is releasing the greatest games lineup in XBox history.

What's coming to XBox One? Well, there's Halo 5: Guradians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6, Gears of War Ultimate Edition and some impressive exclusive games like ReCore and Sea of Thieves to name just a few. Check out the whole list here.
