Hewlett-Packard's first webOS 3.0 tablet, the HP TouchPad, which ships this week in Canada, will compete for the hotly contested  10" inch tablet space. Offering true multitasking, in-app notifications and innovative features such as Touch to Share, wireless docking and charging as well as HP Synergy's cloud savvy integration it seems to have a lot to offer, but is it enough?

It is finally here. The Motorola XOOM WiFi 32GB  tablet. This is the very first 10.1" inch tablet running the all new made-for-tablets Android Honeycomb OS. A device of many firsts, the Motorola XOOM also pioneers the use of a dual core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor with 1GB RAM, offers HD playback at  full-1080p and micro HDMI-out, We check it out and put it through its paces.

WishList: ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Honeycomb tablet

There's no shortage of 10.1" Android Honeycomb tablets coming to the market like the newly released Motorola XOOM and the upcoming tablets from Toshiba and Samsung. ASUS  has taken a different approach by offering a tablet that can snap on to a QWERTY keyboard  and trackpad dock which has an additional battery giving this docked device an unprecedented 16-hour battery life. We think this might be the dark horse among Honeycomb tablets of this size.

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer also has a 1GB memory, 16GB or 32GB of storage with unlimited access to cloud-based ASUS WebStorage, both front and rear-facing cameras, and features  the ASUS’ Waveshare UI which adds functionality to the bare bones Android 3.0. Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi Honeycomb tablet announced for sale in US for $599

March 27 is a big day for anyone in the US waiting for the contract-free Wi-Fi only version of the Motorola Xoom Honeycomb tablet. Said to be available for US$600 in Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, RadioShack, Sam's Club, Staples and Walmart, the Xoom eschews the 3G and 4G components of the Verizon version but will still have all the same specs like the 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, and a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution.
