Filemaker is a database suite that is wholly owned by Apple and has evolved with the needs of businesses since it was a Mac-only solution. Filemaker currently offers appications running on Mac, Windows and iOS.

Apple releases iOS 5.1.1 update with enhanced HDR, AirPlay and Safari fixes

Plug in your iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches and update your software, iOS 5.1 is out. According to Apple the update brings with it the following fixes.

This update contains improvements and bug fixes, including: 

- Improves reliability of using HDR option for photos taken using the Lock Screen shortcut 
- Addresses bugs that could prevent the new iPad from switching between 2G and 3G networks 
- Fixes bugs that affected AirPlay video playback in some circumstances 
- Improved reliability for syncing Safari bookmarks and Reading List 
- Fixes an issue where 'Unable to purchase' alert could be displayed after successful purchase

Apple announces WWDC on June 10-15 in San Francisco

Apple just announced dates for this year's  World Wide Developer's Conference (WWDC) which will take place at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco on June 11 to 15th. We were at last year's WWDC when Apple announced iCloud. The focus this year is likely on iOS and Mountain Lion.
