One of the new shows we can expect from Apple’s new TV+ service is an adaptation of a Stephen King novel. According to Hollywood Reporter, Apple has ordered an eight-episode series based on Lisey’s Story. King himself will be writing the episodes and Bad Robot Production’s J.J. Abrams and Ben Stephenson will be producing the show. Julianne Moore has signed on to be the lead as well as executive producer for the Warner Bros. Television show. Moore will be playing a widow who looks into her husband’s dark past after discovering secrets and unearthing suppressed memories that surfaced a couple of years after his death.
