Lego appeals to ‘Iron Man’ fans with Hulkbuster buildable set

Fans of Iron Man are in for a treat. Lego just unveiled at the New York Toy Fair a buildable set based on the Hulkbuster suit we’ve seen in 2015 movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Lego Marvel Super Heroes The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition comes with 1,363 pieces, a punching jackhammer arm, a special Iron Man Mark 43 minifigure, a Lego light brick for its chest, and a platform for the figure to be placed on. Some of the special features for the Hulkbuster include a flip-up head, rotating torso, 12 glow-in-the-dark elements, and posable joints. It measures just over 9 inches high, 3 inches long, and 8 inches wide. This Lego set is going on sale in the US on March 3rd and will cost US$120 (around CA$150).

LEGO Batman celebrates Christmas in a dark and confusingly sexy way

The LEGO Batman Movie promos have always been amusing to us. Now, The movie’s Twitter account shows us how The Caped Crusader celebrates the holidays. It looks to be a bit dark and mildly seductive if we take into account Will Arnett’s scruffy voice for Batman. What we get from the short clip is Arnett’s Batman in a red robe showing his LEGO chest and reading us the end of the holiday classic The Night Before Christmas and ending it with “Happy Holidays to all, and to all a dark knight.” What we would give to see and hear the entire tale told to us by this Dark Knight.

‘Lego City Undercover’ to be re-released on new platforms

Lego City Undercover will be making its way to more consoles in the “Spring of 2017.” The game, which originally launched as a Wii U exclusive back in March 2013, is going to be re-released on the Nintendo Switch, PC, Microsoft Xbox One, and Sony PlayStation 4. Lego claims the game is both a “re-release” and a “remastered” version but it won’t say yet if it’s a direct port or if there will be improvements to be made. Lego City Undercover is unlike other Lego video games as it is based on an original story where you’re left to play as undercover police officer Chase McCain.
