Moto 360 (2015) coming to Canada via Best Buy, TELUS and Google Play on October 28th

Motorola's latest Android Wear smartwatch, the Moto 360 will be available to Canadians on October 28th from Best Buy, TELUS and Google Play and starts at $379.00. Now featuring two sizes and models specifc to ladies and gentlemen, the MOto 360 also works with Android devices as well as iPhones thanks to an iOS version of Android Wear app.

Also new for this year is an ambient mode that always dislplays the time without wearing down the battery life which is good for at least a day and a half. On a full charge. Lenovo folds smartphone unit under Motorola

Motorola's President Rick Osterloh will lead Lenovo's mobile charge under the Motorola brand

Lenovo announced today that it will shift all of its smartphone operations, including design and manufacturing under the Motorola banner. Lenovo acquired Motorola Mobility from Google last year for US $2.1 billion and 3,500 employees were retained. This made Lenovo the third largest smartphone maker at the time.

Motorola sends out invitations to London launch event

There are new Motorola products coming and they will be launched on July 28th in London. Motorola just sent out media invitations to the event, which will be live streamed. Go to motorola.ca/hellomoto for more details. The whole theme for the event is 'Your relationship status is about to change,' which is the teaser on the invitation.

Continuing to the event link, Motorola points out that  regarding to our phones, "We feel lost without it. We trust them with our most personal questions, photos, stories and secrets. Lenovo: Motorola shipped more that 10 million phones last quarter, generated US $1.9 billion in revenues

 Lenovo Group today announced consensus-beating results for its third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2014, showing a strong PC business and fast traction in the integration of its Motorola Mobility (Motorola) and former IBM System x, x86 server (System x) investments. Newly acquired Motorola Mobility, which Lenovo bought for $US 2.9 billion a year ago, was reported to have shipped more than 10 million phones and earnied US$1.9 billion in revenues last quarter.
