Skype always sweetens the deal on any smartphone platform. For those times when you need to make local or international calls and are within reach of a fairly strong Wi-Fi signal, Skype is still the most effective and widely adopted option. Nokia launches N8 imaging smartphone on Rogers

Nokia unveiled its highly anticipated N8 Symbian smartphone during a packed event at downtown Toronto's Bang and Olufsen store. Movie magic and imaging were the themes of the night with a film screening and demos of the new device's multimedia capabilities and 12Megapixel camera.
