Fitbit Ionic now available worldwide

Fitbit Ionic is the first smartwatch from Fitbit and it offers the ultimate curation of advanced health and fitness features, personalized guidance, smart functionality and versatile style. Ionic has been available today for presale on Fitbit.com, with retail availability starting in October 2017. 

Fitbit Ionic brings a number of first to the pioneering and leading smart tracker space. It is the first smartwatch from the company. It is also water-resistant and can be used while swimming and for tracking water sports. It is the first device to use Fitbit Pay, which brings touchless mobile payments to the Fitbit  wearable space and it can be used to pay for items and services on most touch to pay terminals. The Ionic can also play back stored music and works in tandem with the Fitbit Flyer and other wireless headsets. Apple Watch comes to Canada on April 24. Price range is from $449 to $13,000

Apple finally released more information on the Apple Watch including launch date and pricing. The new wearable is coming to Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US on April 24. Pricing information for the Apple Watch editions was also revealed at today's event

Apple Watch is available in three collections and two sizes, 38mm and 42mm per collection, Apple Watch Sport, priced at $449 (CAD) and $519 (CAD); Apple Watch, available from $699 (CAD) to $1,459 (CAD); and Apple Watch Edition, crafted from custom rose or yellow 18-karat gold alloys, with prices starting at $13,000 (CAD).

‘The Last Of Us Remastered’ release for PS4 reportedly delayed, might be out by August 7th 

Sony has previously said The Last Of Us Remastered version for the PlayStation 4 is going to be released this summer. The company did not officially say when but retailers’ announcement generally agreed that it would be around June 13th.  However, Ubergizmo reports New Zealand retailer Mighty Ape sent out emails to customers who pre-ordered The Last Of Us that the game’s release has shifted to August 7th. Sony still hasn’t made an announcement about the release nor have they contradicted Mighty Ape’s announcement. At this time, it’s best to anticipate a delay.

BlackBerry reportedly releasing 10.2.1 on January 28

The rumour mill is abuzz with talks that the new BlackBerry 10 platform’s refresh will be released on January 28. Ubergizmo reports BlackBerry 10.2.1 will carry features such as the floating action bar and the ability to direct download Android APK file without the need to sideload the app. There is no word if the update will come out first in APAC or EMEA or as a global release. For now, we’re keeping watch for the veracity of the rumour. We’ll keep you posted for any updates.
