Samsung teases five new devices in new Unpacked teaser

We've already heard about what devices Samsung plans to launch during Unpacked on August 5. But now we get confirmation from the company through a teaser trailer for the event. We get to see the silhouettes of the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Watch 3. Ahead of the event, Samsung revealed the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. And now we're just days away from learning about these new gadgets. Which one are you the most excited to see?

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 most likely won't be unveiled at Unpacked event

Samsung is about to introduce several products at its upcoming Unpacked event. The star will definitely be the Galaxy Note 20 series. The Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+, Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 are expected to make an appearance. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 might not be launched at the event. 

Max Weinbach, an industry insider and a writer at XDA Developers, says he is 60% sure Samsung won't mention the foldable device at the event and 100% sure it won't make an appearance at all. Weinbach claims claiming that the software for it isn't close to being ready, and we haven't heard much about its hardware either. He estimates that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be announced in early September with a target release of early October. If that is true, there are still many devices that Samsung will be announcing on August 5.

A new report popped up confirming that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will launch at the August 5 Samsung Unpacked event.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it comes as no surprise that rumours are going around that Samsung will be moving its upcoming Unpacked event online. The company will reportedly unveil its Galaxy Note 20 lineup on August 5. We're expecting to see the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra (which will reportedly replace the Note 20+). 

Aside from that, Samsung will supposedly launch the Galaxy Fold 2 as well. Samsung leaker Ice Universe said on Chinese blogging site Weibo that there are even more devices expected to be showcased during the Unpacked event, including the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Tab S7, Tab S7+, as well as the Galaxy Watch 2. If there's any truth to these rumours, we can expect a pretty packed Unpacked event.

Samsung's next 'Unpacked' event will be on Feb. 11th

Samsung is getting ready to unveil its next flagship. The company just teased the upcoming event on its Twitter account. The "Unpacked" event, as Samsung calls it, will happen in San Francisco on February 11, as rumours previously suggested. We're expected to see the next S-series flagship phones, which could be called the Galaxy S11 or the Galaxy S20. The Galaxy Fold 2 might also make an appearance at the event. As with previous years, Samsung will also stream the launch online so that you can check it out on the day itself, too.
