OnePlus 8 Lite prototypes with triple-camera setup leaked online

OnePlus is reportedly releasing a "Lite" version of the OnePlus 8. And now, we're getting a look at the rumoured device. Leaker Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24 on Twitter) shared images of the OnePlus 8 Lite spotted in a Chinese video with CEO Pete Lau. Agarwal noted the phone looks taller and that it doesn't look like the previously leaked CAD renders were accurate as the phone has a triple-camera setup with flash on the side.

Other rumoured specs of the OnePlus 8 Lite include 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, a MediaTek 100 processor, 4,000mAh battery, and 6.4-inch AMOLED display. At this point, we aren't sure how accurate the images or these specs are, so make sure to take this leak and the others like it with a grain of salt.

LG G9 leaked renders surfaced

We're getting our first glimpse at LG's upcoming flagship, the LG G9 ThinQ. It isn't clear what gimmick the phone might come with, but leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks on Twitter) gave us our first look at the smartphone. The LG G9 looks to have either a 6.7- or 6.9-inch screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a small notch at the top center for the selfie camera. The rear sports four cameras with dual flash, but it isn't known what camera sensors it comes with. The smartphone also looks to have a 3.5mm headphone jack (a rarity in flagships these days) and a USB-C port. The SIM card slot is at the top of the phone, while the power and volume buttons are on the left. The LG G9 will also reportedly get a Google Assistant button on the right side of the handset. This may or may not be the final design of LG's upcoming flagship. We're expecting to see the smartphone at MWC 2020 if we follow the LG G8's launch.

Samsung might drop the 'e' variant for the Galaxy S20 series

Render of the Samsung Galaxy S11

We've already heard rumours about Samsung Galaxy S20 replacing the upcoming Galaxy S11. Now, a new report from WinFuture claims the next flagship will get rid of the Galaxy S10e variant and replaces it with the Galaxy S20 Ultra. There will also supposedly a Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Plus. The screen sizes will reportedly include a 6.2-inch Galaxy S20, 6.7-inch Galaxy S20 Plus, and 6.9-inch Galaxy S20 Ultra. If the rumours are true, this won't be the first time Samsung will be skipping a generation when it comes to naming its devices. Perhaps Samsung sees the branding potential of calling the phone a Galaxy S20 for 2020, or as Android Central points out, the company doesn't want to pit an S11 against an iPhone 12.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite leaked user manual corroborates past design leaks

Samsung has yet to confirm that it will launch the “Lite” version of the Galaxy S10 but there have been tons of rumours about the device. The latest leak is the Portuguese user manual, which confirms the previous leaks about the handset. The rumoured device will also sport what looks like Samsung’s design language moving in 2020: a punch-hole display and the rectangular camera module on the back. We’ve seen this design implemented on the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71.

The manual shows the Galaxy S10 Lite sporting an in-display fingerprint scanner, a power button and volume rocker on the right side, SIM and microSD slot on the left, and USB-C port at the bottom. The phone will also supposedly have MST and NFC to support Samsung Pay. What seems to be missing is a 3.5mm headphone jack.
