You can now join Twitter Spaces on the desktop & mobile web browsers

As Twitter rolls out Spaces to more users, the social media site has decided to bring its Clubhouse alternative to the desktop and mobile web browsers. Before this update, Spaces was only available on Twitter's iOS and Android apps. But now, users can join Spaces using their browser, whether on a computer, tablet, or phone. Twitter Spaces is also not yet available on the iPad and Mac apps, but the company said it is working on this.

'Twitter Blue' subscription service tipped to have undo tweets, priced at USD 2.99/month

We've heard about Twitter working on a subscription service for a while now. App researcher Jane Manchun Wong revealed that the service might be called Twitter Blue, and it could be priced at USD 2.99 (around CAD 3.62) per month. But we don't know yet when Twitter will launch the service.

Twitter finally brings DM search to Android

You can now search through a Twitter DM on Android. A feature that's been missing on the platform for nearly two years since the social network introduced it on iOS. Right now, though, you can only search for the names of people you've spoken to through the DM search bar. It will even surface older conversations, which isn't an option on the iOS and web versions of this feature. But Twitter plans to expand this feature "later this year" by allowing you to look for the actual words you've used.

Twitter launches Tip Jar

Twitter recently introduced a new way for its users to earn from their time on the platform. The company has started rolling out Tip Jar initially to creators, journalists, nonprofits, and experts using Twitter in English on iOS and Android. A Tip Jar icon will appear next to the Follow button for those who have the feature enabled.
