Microsoft introduces smart, wireless Surface Earbuds

Everyone seems to have ridden the wireless, smart earbuds train. The latest to join the trend is Microsoft with the Surface Earbuds. The large, disc-shaped Earbuds are designed to fit comfortably and to work with the natural shape of the human ear. Instead of having the usual circular plastic dome, it's more oval, so it can rest on two points of the ear.

On top of having a better fit, audio is improved with what Microsoft calls "rich, immersive Omnisonic sound." There doesn't seem to be noise cancellation here, though.

Microsoft Surface Neo foldable tablet wants to redefine your mobile productivity

The new foldable devices from Microsoft want to answer a couple of questions: "What if we didn't have to switch between devices, screens or apps? What if one device had two screens to keep us in flow?"

One of the solutions Microsoft has come up with is the Surface Neo. The company might not want us to call it a tablet, but it has two 9-inch screens attached by a "360-degree full-friction hinge." The Surface Duo is the Microsoft phone we've all been waiting for

But Microsoft doesn't want you to call it a phone, even though it can take calls and the video above suggests otherwise. It's a foldable device in a new category. "It's a Surface," Panos Panay, Microsoft's chief product officer tells Wired. It certainly looks like a foldable phone, especially since it runs Android apps.

It has two 5.6-inch displays attached via a thin centre hinge that unfolds flat to create an 8.3-inch diagonal split working surface. It folds back so you can use just one side of the screen at a time. It might not have as seamless a screen as the Huawei Mate X and Samsung Galaxy Fold, but with Gorilla Glass screens it could avoid the issues Samsung faces with its plastic display.

It's now $12.99 per month instead of $19.99; $34.99 per quarter instead of $44.99; and $79.99 per year instead of $99.99. These include God of War, Grand Theft Auto V, inFAMOUS Second Son, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Sony had an additional note for GTAV. It said, "Grand Theft Auto V is available to download and stream via PS Now at launch; Grand Theft Auto Online and Rockstar Games Social Club will be available for users that download GTAV at launch.
