Whatever the outcome of this year's NBA Finals, one thing is certain, iTunes is making the games accessible as a$6.99 all-inclusive season pass or you can download each game for $1.99.  Episodes come in HD and are good to go on iPhones, iPads or iPod Touches as well as desktops and notebooks. Best of all, no annoying Sprite commercials with people exploding into liquid. As for the finals, we're for the underdogs, Dallas in 6.

Audi debuts new 553 hp R8 GT Spyder

Can one improve on perfection? Audi just took the wraps off a new 553 hp R8 GT Spyder. Featuring Audi's 5.2-litre direct injection V10 engine, with a throaty 552bhp (up from 518bhp) and torque to 398lb ft (from 391lb ft). The new R8 will hit 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds and can attain a 197mph top speed. Production will be limited to 333 units and those lucky enough to get on the shortlist for GT Spyder will spend around $187,000.

Game On: 20 new games released for Xperia PLAY

Sony Ericsson announced  more than 20 new games, including 10 exclusive titles, optimized for the shiny new PSP smartphone. The new games, many of which will be showcased at the world’s leading games expo, E3, June 7-9, add to the more than 60 titles already available for Xperia PLAY.

Toshiba's Thrive brings new colour to Android tablets

Toshiba's Thrive is  Toshiba's first tablet for the US market and was revealed  that Best Buy (US) will be taking with pre-orders beginning June 13th for a mid-July Ship date. Running Android 3.1, it will be sold in three capacities, 8GB ($429), 16GB ($479), and 32GB ($579).

The Thrive also gets the colour treatment with an assortment of delighful hues that go beyond just black and white. Powered by Tegra 2 processors and featuring WiFi, Bluetooth, full-sized USB and HDMI ports, an SD slot, a 2 MP front-facing camera plus a 5MP rear camera. No 3D nonsense on this model, just good old tablet features at a competitive price.
