Off The Record History extension gives you temporary access to Chrome Incognito browsing history

It’s generally great that Incognito mode on Google Chrome doesn’t keep any records of your browser history. But sometimes when you need access to a certain URL and accidentally close the window, you have no way of accessing it. That is until this this new extension. Off The Record History will keep your Incognito mode browsing history, your regular history, and recently closed tabs in a short-term history file while you have the browser open. Once you close it though, those links will be gone. You can check out the extension yourself but you’ll need to follow the instructions to make it work in Incognito mode.

Is iMessage coming to Android?

Is Apple caving and bringing one of its key apps to Android? Recent rumours suggest that Apple will be announcing this piece of “news” at WWDC, which starts on Monday. MacDailyNews cites sources “familiar with the company’s thinking” about this supposed launch. If Apple does decide to bring iMessage to Android, it can be seen as the company’s response to Google introducing its new Allo messenger to both Android and iOS. Apple currently has Apple Music, Move to iOS, and Beats Pill apps available on Android. We’re not sure if Apple will plan to bring its secure and simple iMessage app across the ecosystem pond, especially one key app such as this. But we have a couple of days until we find out. And if they do, the question is will Android users want to use yet another messaging app in the sea of many.

‘The Sims 4’ won’t constrain players by gender

A new update for The Sims 4 brings diversity into the mix. Electronic Arts and Maxis now allows players to customize their characters in any way they like, regardless of gender. You can now choose the kind of walk style, tone of voice, and other physical features of your Sim without being restricted by supposed gender. It opens up things like clothing and accessories to everyone without it being classified as male or female. According to a press release from Maxis, “We want to make sure players can create characters they can identify with or relate to through powerful tools that give them influence over a Sims gender, age, ethnicity, body type, and more.” The update is already up for download.
