Here’s our first look at Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’ for Netflix

We’re getting our first official teaser of the second Netflix-exclusive Marvel show, Jessica Jones.  Jessica, played by Krysten Ritter, isn’t your typical superhero. She’s not your regular goody two-shoes and she doesn’t seem like a morning person either, as seen in this trailer. The show will be picking up from where Jessica Jones retires from being a hero and sets up her own detective agency in New York City. The show will be premiering on the streaming service on November 20^th.

NASA set to announce ‘major science finding’ on Sept. 28th

Big news seems to be heading our way from NASA. The space agency will be holding a press conference on Monday, September 28^th. It’s said they be detailing a “major science finding” and that a big Mars-related mystery has been solved. The press con will be happening at 11:30 a.m. EDT. The people leading the event include: Jim Green, director of planetary science at NASA Headquarters; Michael Meyer, lead scientist for the Mars Exploration Program at NASA Headquarters; Lujendra Ojha of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta; Mary Beth Wilhelm of NASA’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California and the Georgia Institute of Technology; and Alfred McEwen, principal investigator for the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Aaron Sorkin takes offence with Tim Cook’s comments about the ‘Steve Jobs’ movie

Aaron Sorkin has some biting words for Apple CEO Tim Cook as he criticized the latest Steve Jobs biopic that he penned. Cook called the movie “opportunistic” in an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “I think that a lot of people are trying to be opportunistic, and I hate this; it’s not a great part of our world. The Steve I knew was an amazing human being,” Cook said.

SwiftKey beta fixes font bug on Android Marshmallow

SwiftKey updated its beta app to fix a bug that rendered the key fonts and icons hardly readable for some Android Marshmallow preview builds. Now, it’s back to normal size, making it easier for you to type/swipe away on your keyboard. The latest beta also stops support for Gingerbread or other older devices. If you’re interested in being part of the SwiftKey beta program, you have to join this Google Group and select the “Become a Tester” link.
