Huawei Nexus leak shows possible processor and USB-C port

Google and Huawei are reportedly working together for a new Huawei-built Nexus device. A leak has surfaced on China's Weibo social network showing off some of the hardware specifications of the rumoured smartphone. The device looks to be covered in a plastic shell, which could either be for protection or some semblance of privacy. But its bootscreen shows that it could be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (no microSD card slot in sight), and a USB-C port. There also seems to be a circular hole in the back, which could possibly be for a fingerprint sensor. It'll also supposedly have a 5.7-inch 2,560 x 1,440 display. If any of these leaks are true, we could be seeing the new Nexus device this October.

Facebook introduces a Donate Now button for non-profits

Facebook is making it easier for you to donate to your favorite cause. The social network now has a new Donate Now button that can appear in both the non-profit's page and ads that show up around the site. The link will take the pains out for you having to look for a way to back a non-profit. They are rolling it out slowly though so it might take some time before you see the button on your feed.

Photoflow for Mac is the Instagram desktop client you didn't know you needed

A heavy user of Instagram? If you're on your Mac, you might want to check out Photoflow. The app will cost you $5.79 but if you're a heavy user, that might be worth it. You get features like multiple account and stream support; wide search tools like being able to browse hashtags, locations, trends, etc.; desktop notifications for likes, comments, and new photos; mice and trackpad gesture support; and the ability to enlarge photos and videos by opening them or expanding the window. The app needs you to be running OS X Yosemite though. And no, it won't let you upload photos. No third-party Instagram client allows for that.

Microsoft to shutter OneDrive Groups by October 16th

It's time to start looking into other collaboration tools if you've been using OneDrive Groups. Microsoft plans to close this feature on October 16th. So all the files shared with you won't be available to you past that date if you don't save it to your personal OneDrive account. It would seem Microsoft has started to limit users' access to the feature as you can't create new Groups or add people to your Groups. You can only work with what you have now.
