Camera360 introduces Bestie selfie app

Selfies are usually considered to be a more feminine activity (although that might not be the actual case) and we think that’s the target market for the new app from Camera360. The Bestie app, which is a camera and photo editing app, has 26 filters on the app, each named after a girl with a “unique personality” attached to it. And like other selfie-centered products, it has a Smart Skin Smoothing feature with five different levels to choose from. The auto mode of the app also has a noise-canceling feature so even shots taken in low-light will look better. Its editing tool isn’t limited to editing selfies, you can use it to edit your other shots as well.

Apple releases photo- and video-centric new ad for the iPhone

Building on the company’s “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone” advertising campaign. Apple has released a new video on YouTube that focuses on the photographic capabilities of the iPhone. The ad shows an assortment of artfully arranged iPhones that show various photos and videos. The voiceover of the clip talks about the ease of use and popularity of the iPhone’s camera. The style of the ad is similar to the other videos they released for this campaign.

Apple rumoured to be holding iPhone event early September

If Apple’s past launch schedules are anything to go by, Apple will be launching the latest iteration of the iPhone in September. And this year is the year of the “S” models of the phone. Reports have been going around claiming the supposed “iPhone 6s” and “iPhone 6s Plus” will be unveiled around the second week of September. Some have claimed it could be Sept. 8 or 9.

According to Mashable, if you follow Apple’s patterns for its launches, we can expect iOS 9 around the 16th and then the phones will launch two days later on the 18th. Apple might also debut the revamped Apple TV and even the long-rumoured iPad Pro. Of course, none of these are confirmed yet. We have a few weeks to go before we can be sure we’re getting new stuff from Apple.
