Instagram now has 700 million users, with 100 million added since December

Facebook-owned photo sharing app Instagram now boasts 700 million active users, with 100 million coming on board since December. Instagram has added various new ways to share photos, boomerangs, videos as well as stories. 

Facebook bought Instagram for 1 Billion when it realized it could not compete with the popular photo sharing app. Since then, Instagram's evolved by emulating features found on other popular image sharing services, most notably Snap.

Apple Retail Stores to host hands on sessions and how-to's starting May

Apple Stores will host dozens of new educational sessions next month in all 495 Apple Stores ranging in topics from photo and video to music, coding, art and design, and more. The hands-on sessions, collectively called “Today at Apple,” will be led by highly-trained team members, and in select cities world-class artists, photographers and musicians, teaching sessions from basics and how-to lessons to professional-level programs.

“At the heart of every Apple Store is the desire to educate and inspire the communities we serve,” said Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail. “‘Today at Apple’ is one of the ways we’re evolving our experience to better serve local customers and entrepreneurs. We’re creating a modern-day town square, where everyone is welcome in a space where the best of Apple comes together to connect with one another, discover a new passion, or take their skill to the next level. We think it will be a fun and enlightening experience for everyone who joins."

Review: 2017 Cadillac XT5 Platinum

I recently took the 2017 Cadillac XT5 Platinum to a Easter family trip to Montreal. I was wondering if this mid-sized SUV would fit my specific requirements, which was to haul three adults, one child, and all our necessities (plus space for some shopping on the way back).

I picked up a stunning Crystal White Tricoat Platinum model, which seems to be a shimmering white at first glance but which has a pearlescent sheen when the light hits it. The XT5 is balanced, not too muscular yet not insanely angular.
