SoundHound for Android automatically adds searches to Spotify

Ever wondered what song was playing while you were walking around a mall and needed to look it up? Apps like SoundHound will help find that out for you. Now, SoundHound for Android makes it easier for you to listen to these newly discovered songs. The app now automatically adds the songs you look up to a Spotify playlist. All you need to do is connect your SoundHound with your Spotify account.

Whatsapp tipped to get voice call capability

It’s not exactly a new feature but it would seem Whatsapp might be integrating it into its messaging app. Screenshots of what seem to be a new build of the app have surfaced online. It could still be in beta though as it hasn’t appeared on Google Play Store yet. It looks like there are going to be different screens for call logs, ongoing calls, and dialing a voice call. If these leaks are true, we should expect to see this in the first quarter of 2015.

Google’s new self-driving cars to hit roads next month

What Google says are the “first real build” of its self-driving car will be hitting the streets in January. This new model gets rid of the clunky rooftop LIDAR system for a sleeker machine that looks like a cross between a Mac Pro and a police siren. It finally now gets real headlights, too. This self-driving car also finally gets headlights, too. But it retains that cute koala-like look to it.

Kodak to launch Android phones because they can

Kodak is bringing its first line of Android devices to the upcoming CES. They promise “best-in-class image management software and features along with great design and UI.” They will unveil a 4G phone, tablet, and connected camera. These devices will be made by Bullitt Group while the name and cache will come from Kodak. Bullitt has a similar arrangement with Caterpillar and their line of rugged Android devices. We’re not sure if this’ll be a success or not, but we do wish them luck.
