Microsoft brings OS X-like trackpad gestures to Windows 10

If you feel like consistent trackpad gestures have been missing on your Windows device, Microsoft is looking to change that with Windows 10. Microsoft's Joe Belfiore said at TechEd Europe that they are working to remedy that. "With Windows 10 we're adding support for power users in a touch pad, where multiple finger gestures—which all of you power users learn—can make you really efficient."

The features outlined by Belfiore include: three-finger swipe down to minimize all active Windows and three-finger swipe up to bring them back. You can use a three-finger swipe up to open new Task View feature and swipe left and right with your three fingers to switch between apps. Yes, these gestures are what is being used in OS X. We expect some issues to arise in the near future.

Google introduces Google Fit app

Google has unveiled its own fitness app on Google Play Store. Google Fit is designed to track your fitness activity and ties it in with your Google account. The things it can track are a bit sparse at the moment. It can help you reach personal goals as well. You just need to state those in the app. The goals include running, walking, and biking. It can either be time-based or the number of steps you take. It connects with third-party devices to centralize your fitness data and it is compatible with all Android Wear devices. The app can be accessible on the Web or on your tablet as well.

Logitech intros rugged iPad keyboard

Nope, you are not looking at a Touch Cover for Microsoft's Surface. This Bluetooth keyboard is from Logitech and it is designed for iPads. The Keys-To-Go is made with what Logitech dubs as FabricSkin, a textured, spill-proof surface that is just over 6mm thick. It'll easily fit into your bag and won't add too much weight at six ounces. Although if you are using the new iPad Air 2, this'll add almost 50 percent weight to that. The Keys-To-Go is $69.99 and it will come in red, teal, and black.
