Fashion brands working on accommodating larger smartphones

With smartphones getting larger and more unruly to put into pockets, it would seem the fashion industry has taken notice. Based on a report from Quartz, Uniqlo is working on accommodating these innovations of tech. “We are having conversations currently with the product development team regarding technology overall, and how our clothes can provide compatibility from a user perspective. Jean pockets is one of those conversations.”

And it would seem they aren’t alone. Business Insider reports that American Eagle, L.L. Bean, J. Crew, Levi’s, and Lee Jeans are working to make their jean pockets a bit bigger as well.

Google+ gets Material Design look

Google is bringing its flat and colorful Material Design look to more and more of its apps. The latest one to get this treatment is their social network, Google+. The app flattens the interface more and you get splashes of solid color. Google also revamped the Photos section of the app to make it simpler to use and better looking. They wanted to make it easier to share your photos to your circles.

Twitter for Mac gets supports for multiple photo uploads per tweet

Twitter for Mac gets a significant update that will please people who love to tweet photos. Mac users can now upload multiple photos in one-go. It lets you upload up to four photos in one tweet and share these photos via DM as well. It has been around on other platforms for a while but that doesn’t mean we don’t welcome the update. Twitter, of course, included performance improvements and bug fixes with the new update.

Spotify adds CarPlay support

With Spotify making its official debut here, here’s one more device you can use it on: Apple’s CarPlay units. Spotify updated its iOS app to add support for CarPlay system. So, once these units arrive, you’d get access to millions of songs right from your car’s dashboard. It joins music apps like Stitcher, iHeartRadio, and Apple’s Beats Music that support the automotive version of iOS.

The iOS version of Spotify also now supports Quebecois and Swedish and fixed a few bugs for iOS 8.
