SlideShow: The Acura Precision Concept from the 2016 Detroit Auto Show

Acura's made a strong showing at this year's NAIAS, not just with the new NSX but with the Acura Precision Concept which is a swoopy, angular and bold statement that points towards a possible new design direction. One of the more attractive concepts unveiled here in Detroit, the Acura Precision looks like part spaceship, part sedan. Distinctive rear suicide doors complement the general ease of access and appearance of space plus the beefy rear and curvaceous lines toe the line between sedan and coupe. It is definitely a refreshing take and one that we hope will invitably creep into Acura's future design language.

NAIAS 2016: GMC launches 2017 Acadia crossover focusing on safety

Detroit, MI- GMC took the wraps off its redesigned line of Acadai crossover vehicles designed for the needs of families and which now boast more safety features and a sportier profile while reducing up to 700 pounds of weight and improved mileage.

In tune with GM's push for improved technology across all their car brands, the GMC Acadia features the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

Detroit, MI - BMW revealed its new M2 Coupe which takes its inspiration from the iconic BMW 1 series  M coupe. Featuring a turbocharged six-cylinder 3.0 liter engine that has 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque, the new coupe does 0-60 mph in 4 seconds. The all-new 2016 BMW M2 will be available in showrooms starting in spring of 2016

NAIAS 2016: Chevrolet shows off 2017 Bolt EV at Detroit Auto Show

Detroit, MI - GM"s CEO Mary Barra drove on stage at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) on the company's latest electric vehicle the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV. The production mode Bolt EV was already shown off at CES 2016, but more information on the vehicle's capabilities were released today.

2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV is powered by a 60-kilowatt lithium-ion battery pack featuring 288 cells and can travel from zero to 60 miles per hour in less than seven seconds, General Motors Co. said Monday at the Detroit auto show. The Bolt EV has 200 horsepower and has a top speed of 91 miles per hour. The Bolt EV’s battery system weighs 960 pounds. The Bolt EV's battery will take nine hours to charge on regular power sockets but can be charged up to 80 per cent in an hour using a DC Fast Charging System.
