Google unveils cloud music and video rentals, outs unified Android OS

Google's gone on a cloud offensive by ushering new movie and music streaming cloud services, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich (we're serious) OS that will unify tablet and smartphones into a single interface and a series of home automation and peripheral tool framework that will allow developers to integrate Android devices to such appliances as  exercise machines and a two ton labyrinth. Adobe's Photoshop Touch apps now available for iPads

None of these are Photoshop for the iPad but a trio of Photoshop Touch apps that integrate with Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 are now available in Apple's app store. Adobe Color Lava, Adobe Eazel and Adobe Nav – for Apple iPad were developed using the Photoshop Touch Software Development Kit (SDK) to demonstrate the potential for new interaction between Photoshop and tablet devices. Breaking News: Microsoft buys Skype for $8.5 Billion

Microsoft has acquired internet telephony service Skype for a whopping US $8.5 Billion. A Wall Street Journal report  early today confirmed the Redmond software giant had beaten the likes of Facebook, Google and Cisco who were vying to purchase Skype from its previous owner eBay.
