Hyundai recalling 10,800 Genesis coupes for detached driveshafts

Hyundai is recalling 10,800 Genesis Coupes manufactured between December 28, 2011, and April 6, 2015 for an issue affecting the differential, which could be misaligned with the crossmember of the rear suspension. In such cases, the bolts securing the differential may loosen, and could lead to the driveshaft disconnecting entirely, resulting in complete loss of propulsion.

Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will verify the proper assembly of the differential, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on January 11, 2016. Owners may contact Hyundai's customer service at 1-855-671-3059. Hyundai's number for this recall is 135.

Taylor Swift to release concert film exclusively for Apple Music subscribers

Swift's gravitational pull is certain to draw newer artists into cutting exclusive deals with Apple Music, which can only help the upstart service gain momentum as it battles the likes of Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, Google Play Music and Microsoft Groove in the hotly contested streaming music service business.

Taylor Swift has gone from challenging the idea of streaming music servicesand calling out Apple Music to pay artists for streaming their music during the free trial period, to being the service's biggest ambassador.

Swift just announced Apple Music will have exclusive rights to show her 1989 World Tour LIVE Concert Film which comes on December 20th to subscribers worldwide. Seeing as Taylor Swift is arguably the biggest act in music today, this is a huge win for Apple Music as well as a shrewd move by Swift in aligning herself with one of the most powerful entities in the music industry.

Google's Sundar Pichai expresses support for Muslims, slams intolerant discourse

It's so disheartening to see the intolerant discourse playing out in the news these days — statements that our country would be a better place without the voices, ideas and the contributions of certain groups of people, based solely on where they come from, or their religion.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has written an open letter in support of Muslims while slamming the 'intolerable discourse,'indirectly referring to  blustery Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Pichai brings a unique perspective since he himself is an immigrant who came from Madras, India 22 years ago and settled to study and work in the US.

Titled 'Let's not fear defeat our values,' the letter preaches tolerance and the advantages of different voices in running successful companies as well as nation building. Pichai is the latest recognized tech CEO who has weighed in on serious issues of equality. Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg also gave his support to Muslims and Apple's Tim Cook famously expressed his support for minorities and he even penned an essay on bloomberg advocating for equality.
