Barobot cocktail mixing robot is heading to Kickstarter

What good is all this technology if we can't enjoy ourselves with it. Barobot is a bartending robot that is coming up  to delight and impress. As described, "Barobot is an open source robotic device that pours cocktails by mixing alcohol, soft drinks and sodas. It holds up to 12 bottles and can pour a drink with mililitary accuracy. Barobot features over 1000 cocktail recipes that can be accessed via a touchscreen user friendly and smart interface."

This means we can have self-serve parties with cocktails mixed to perfection and no judgy stares or last calls. Head on over to find out more about this project.

Sony releases the RX100 III making the best point-and-shoot camera even better

The newly released  RX100 III (comes in June for $900) improves on the capabilities of Sony's prosumer compact point and shoot camera by adding a built-in retractable OLED viewfinder, a flip-up LCD screen for selfie-fixated folks, and is the is the first Cyber-shot model to offer high-resolution HD video recording in the XAVC S format, which allows for full HD recording at a data rate of 50 mbps with lower compression for improved video quality.

I've been using the RX100 II as my go-to camera for work as well as personal use and it just can't be beat in terms of portability,  photo and video quality, quick wireless image sending to mobile devices online services and general ease of use.

A viewfinder is the one feature I desired most, but found too expensive to invest in. The newest model retains the same  it jump for the lowdown on all the features.

HTC One mini 2 announced for Asian and European markets

The HTC One mini 2 takes many of the features and a lot of the design direction from the HTC One (M8) but scales down some specs, size and functionality to appeal to the midrange of the market. Announced for Asia and Europe (no North American variants as of yet), the HTC One mini 2 features a 4.5-inch screen, a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage but expandable via a microSD slot. Other big features are a 13 megapixel camera and a large 2100 mAh battery. The HTC One mini 2 is likely one of the more premium devices in the "mini variant" smartphone space.
