Motorola's new Alert app can notify your contacts in case of emergencies

Motorola has been making bespoke apps for its smartphones for some time now. Some are whimsical like the Spotlight Stories but others like Migrate and Assist are extremely useful. Starting with the new Moto G (LTE) and Moto E smartphones, Motorola is enabling a new Alert app that can notify contacts or emergency services of your emergency and your location. Xbox One without Kinect to cost $399

Microsoft has announced that starting  on June 9th, in all markets where the Xbox One is sold, Microsoft will introduce an Xbox One priced at $399. Possibly a reaction to user demand.
Also arriving in June, many of your favourite apps will now be available across Xbox devices without an Xbox Live subscription. This includes apps and services like Netflix, Machinima, Twitch, Upload, GoPro, HBO and many more.

Also launching in June for Xbox One, Deals with Gold will offer discounts on some of great titles for the Xbox One with significant savings for Xbox Live Gold members. The first titles include “Forza Motorsport 5” and “Ryse: Sone of Rome.”
