Box for Android update improves photo preview capabilities, introduces alpha testing program

Box has unveiled a new update for its Android app to make it easier for you to browser through your files and to give you access to new features before they are officially rolled out. The new preview feature for images makes sure you only view low-resolution quality images when you’re scrolling and get to see the high-resolution versions when you are looking directly at the photos. The company took out what they consider unnecessary icons on the app to streamline use.

Box also introduced an alpha program for users wanting to test out early features. For those interested, you will be prompted by the app and will be required to join a Google Group to access the special version of Box with the new features.
