Google updates Chrome for iOS

The Google Chrome browser on iOS is getting an update to make use of some of the new iOS 8 features. There is now a new Today section widget for the browser. This'll help you launch the browser with a new tab open or begin a new voice search. If you copy a URL to the clipboard, you'll also be able to launch the site on Chrome via Notification Center.

The browser also adds app extension support for 1Password and LastPass. This means you can enter secured usernames and passwords without having to leave the app. The Chrome share/action button can also be found in the menu through the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner. Google also adds some new gestures for Chrome. You can pull down on a site and release to refresh a page; pull down the page without lifting your thumb/finger and swipe left to open a new tab. If you pull down and swipe right, that'll close the current tab.
