Samsung will be releasing an update for the Galaxy S8 to get rid of red screens

Some Samsung Galaxy S8 have been riddled with red-tinted displays. And while Samsung announced a manual fix for it (Settings > Display > Screen Mode > Color Balance), it doesn’t seem to work for everyone. That’s why the South Korean company announced it’ll be releasing a software update next week to expand the color range of the smartphone so you can make the red color lower than what they’re able to do at the moment.

While Samsung is fixing the device, it isn’t quick to blame the phone just yet. According to The Korean Herald, Samsung said, “We will upgrade the software because of some dissatisfied customers although there is no problem in the phone itself.”
