'Justice League' Snyder Cut is coming to Crave on Mar. 18

Source: Warner Bros.

Since we don't have HBO Max, Zack Snyder's Justice League will be coming to Crave instead. It'll also arrive on March 18 on the streaming service. The Synder cut, as it is known, is the full version made by the director. Joss Whedon completed the film released in theatres after Synder had to leave because of a family emergency. Whedon had to cut out many of Snyder's content to fit into a two-hour running time, so fans were clamouring to see the full version. And we finally get to see it soon.

Crave adds 5.1 surround sound support for select devices

Bell's streaming service now has support for 5.1 surround sound on select devices. Crave announced this back in October, and now it's rolling out to users. Supported devices include Amazon Fire TV devices, Android TV, 4th-generation Apple TV, and Facebook Portal. It isn't clear yet how much of the content supports multi-speaker audio, but MobileSyrup reports that IT: Chapter Two has it. Now, we just hope the service adds 4K support next. A subscription to Crave starts at $9.99 a month, but if you want to add HBO and STARZ content, you need to pay an additional $9.99 and $5.99, respectively.

Bell extends Crave's free trial period from 7 days to 30 days

Succession / HBO

Bell Media's Crave streaming service is offering an extended trial period for new subscribers. The free trial period is up to 30 days instead of Crave's usual seven-day trial. The offer will be available until April 30. While Bell didn't mention COVID-19 specifically, the move seems to target the many potential subscribers who are currently at home because of the pandemic. The offer extends to the standard Crave subscription but also available for those who want to try packages that include Movies + HBO, Starz, and Super Écran, which is the new French-language option. It can be claimed through the Crave mobile app on Android and iOS or Crave.ca.

The Movies + HBO add-on offers popular HBO series' like Game of Thrones, Succession, and Westworld as well as recent films like Hobbs & Shaw and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which is arriving on the platform on March 27.
