Apple reportedly purchases maker of burst photo app SnappyCam

Apple is rumoured to have bought company SnappyLabs, a one-man app maker of the discontinued SnappyCam app. Before it was taken down from the App Store, the app allows users to take full-quality burst mode photos. Perhaps Apple is looking to develop the burst mode photo capabilities of their devices with the new acquisition.

LG reportedly launching webOS-powered smart TV at CES

After acquiring the defunct operating system from HP last February, LG looks to use the webOS platform for a new smart television. The Verge reports that the webOS-powered TV will make its debut at CES in January and will feature a Cards interface, similar to Apple, Microsoft, and Google mobile user interfaces.

The TV is also rumoured to be powered by a 2.2GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, and apps based on the webOS’ Enyo framework.

LG rumoured to release smartwatch, fitness device

LG seems to want a piece of the smartwatch action—at least that is what Ubergizmo reported recently. The rumoured smartwatch from the Korean tech company will reportedly be named LG G Arch. There are also talks that LG plans on unveiling a fitness device that will be called LG G Health. The devices might make their debut at the upcoming CES or MWC events. We will keep you posted on any confirmations about these rumoured gadgets.

Leaked screencap of rumoured Nokia Lumia dual-SIM device surfaces

Twitter tipster @evleaks recently dropped a screencap of a supposed dual-SIM Lumia coming from Nokia. Codenamed “Moneypenny,” the home screen looks like it has separate tiles for messages and calls for the different SIM cards as well as two reception bars.
