Tile's new Anti-Theft Mode makes it undetectable with some extreme consequences

Tile takes a more proactive approach to handle thieves and potential stalkers that want to use its Bluetooth trackers. The latter functionality allowed some bad actors to locate and remove Tile trackers from a stolen item. With Anti-Theft mode, the trackers will become invisible to any other person trying to find the Tile tracker through the app, which makes it helpful for finding a stolen item.

Tile introduces new 'Scan and Secure' feature to alert you of unwanted trackers

Tile promises Scan and Secure is one of the first steps it takes to ensure that its users are safe. And they say they are working with experts to find ways to improve safety-related features.

Tile partners with Amazon to compete with AirTags

Tile will be joining Amazon Sidewalk on June 14, which will allow Tile Bluetooth trackers to take advantage of Amazon's network of Bluetooth devices (like the Ring and Amazon Echo). Tile users will also gain access to Amazon Alexa, allowing them to ask Alexa-enabled devices to find their items (just say "Alexa, find my [item]). It will be helpful in a home with Amazon Echo devices, but Tile CEO CJ Prober believes it will be useful outside the home, too. This partnership helps Tile compete better with Apple's AirTags and its Find My network.
