Clicks: The iPhone case that brings back the BlackBerry keyboard

Photo: Clicks

Clicks, a UK-based company, is launching a new iPhone accessory at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. It’s a case with a built-in physical keyboard that lets you type with more feedback and accuracy. It makes it look like you're attaching a BlackBerry keyboard to the bottom of your phone.

The keyboard fits snugly at the bottom of the case without blocking the screen or the phone's side. It also adds some length to the phone, but you can still see everything on the display as you type. The keyboard plugs into the iPhone’s Lighting or USB-C port, depending on your model, and doesn’t interfere with charging. It doesn’t use Bluetooth or batteries, so you don’t have to worry about pairing or power either.

Meet the DukeBox: LG’s premium speaker concept with a transparent screen and tube amplifiers

Photo: LG

The DukeBox is LG’s latest oddball concept: a jukebox that combines vintage vacuum tube audio with a transparent OLED display. It will debut at CES 2024, along with other new devices from LG. The DukeBox concept is a high-end speaker that aims to create a rich music experience. It has a transparent screen that shows the tube amplifiers behind it, album art, and playback controls. You can change the screen’s transparency to suit your mood. Or even show off other things like a roaring fireplace. As Yanko Design points out, it vaguely looks like the Lyric Speaker.

The DukeBox also has a large front-facing speaker and 360° tweeters for immersive sound. Since it is a concept product, the DukeBox’s price is unknown. But if LG decides to sell it, it will probably be expensive.
