Introducing the new LG Styler with handheld, high-pressure steamer and dynamic moving hanger

LG Electronics (LG) is introducing its new LG Styler clothing care solution at CES 2024. The new Styler features a handheld, high-pressure steamer, Dynamic Moving Hanger, and Dual TrueSteam technology, which deliver faster and more effective clothes-refreshing cycles with improved drying, dehumidification, and de-wrinkling.

The new Styler’s handheld, high-pressure steamer is a first for the LG Styler lineup. It allows you to easily remove wrinkles from shirts and other garments without using a separate iron. You can hang their wrinkled clothes inside the door, take out the steamer attached to the bottom of the Styler, and start the steam process with a button. The steamer uses powerful, high-pressure steam to smooth and soften garments, reducing the need for ironing. The steamer is also compact and easy to store inside the Styler.

CES 2024: LG Display’s full-width dashboard and foldable screens for cars

Photo: LG Display

LG Display is set to unveil its latest innovation for cars at CES 2024: a full-width dashboard display and two foldable screens in the back seat. The company claims this is the ultimate "smartphones on wheels" concept, combining cutting-edge technologies like P-OLED, Advanced Thin OLED, and Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon LCD to create flexible and dynamic displays.

But how will this affect driver safety? LG Display has a solution: Switchable Privacy Mode, which automatically blocks any content on the passenger side of the dashboard from the driver’s view. This way, the passenger can enjoy the entertainment options without distracting the driver, who can focus on the road. This is a bold move by LG Display, which aims to revolutionize the automotive entertainment industry. We are eager to see how this concept works in practice.

Humane backtracks on original statement, now says the AI Pin is water-resistant

Photo: Humane

When the Humane AI Pin was first announced, the startup said it "should not be exposed to water." And that included "condensation, splashing, mist, and perspiration." But Humane has since removed this reference on its support page. Instead, it now reads: ". Ai Pin is water resistant, meaning it’s capable of withstanding water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for activities involving sweat or use in light rain."

We would've expected the device to work this way given the Humane AI Pin is meant to be worn on your person. Hopefully, the actual product does withstand being out in the elements. The AI Pin is expected to start shipping in March (at least for those who pre-ordered early).
