Microsoft halts Xbox One production

Source: Microsoft

Microsoft wants to focus its resources on the latest generation consoles instead of producing the older Xbox One models. The company has announced it will focus on making more of the still-scant Xbox Series X/S models. Microsoft already stopped producing the Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition in 2020. Now, the manufacturer won't make any other variant of the Xbox One series. Any of the Xbox One models you see in the market are existing stock.

Sony is taking a different approach to Microsoft, opting to continue producing PlayStation 4 units this year to fill the lack of the PS5 stock. The Xbox Series X/S and PS5 still quickly sell out when new stock is announced, so we can't say if these strategies will pay off.

Twitter offers option to record, replay Spaces to all users

After launching for a small group of users last year, the ability to record a Twitter Spaces session is now available to iOS and Android users. Twitter Spaces hosts on mobile will now see the Record Space button in the app. This update allows Twitter users to listen to these recordings after the live session. You can't record on the website version yet, though.

The recordings will stay up for 30 days after they've been published. After that, these recorded Spaces will be deleted. Hosts also get the option to delete these recordings anytime before the 30 days are up.

HP EliteBook 805 laptops get Ryzen Pro 6000 chipsets

Source: HP

HP unveiled new business laptops built for hybrid work. One of those is the new HP Elitebook 805 series. These machines run on AMD's Ryzen Pro 6000 processor and have a taller-than-standard 16:10 aspect ratio, making it easier to scan through documents and spreadsheets.

There are three variations for the Elitebook 805 G9 laptops: the 835, 845, and 865. The middle number refers to the screen sizes of each model. The 835 has a 13.3-inch display, the 845 has a 14-inch screen, and the 865 gets a 16-inch display. Unfortunately, the highest spec is a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, without any mentions of touch support for now.
