Sony reportedly planned to offer PlayStation Now on smartphones

Sony might have been another console maker looking to bring the experience to smartphones. In a document obtained from Epic Games' lawsuit against Apple, the iPhone maker reportedly learned about Sony's plans to have a "mobile extension" of PlayStation Now back in 2017. It intended to stream over 450 PS3 games first, followed by PS4 titles.

'Cuphead' DLC will finally be available on June 30

It's been almost five years since Cuphead launched. Along with that 2018 debut, Studio MDHR announced "The Delicious Last Course" expansion with a planned release in 2019. It's taken a while for the downloadable content to be ready, but now the studio is prepared to give a release date. The DLC is coming on June 30, 2022.

Studio MDHR even shared a new trailer during The Game Awards showing the run-and-gun platformer's gorgeous 1930s art style. The Delicious Last Course takes place on an unknown island called Inkwell Isle. There will be new weapons and charms that you can use when battling bosses in the game. Ms. Chalice is also joining Cuphead and Mugman in this new adventure.

Analogue plans to reopen Pocket orders on Dec. 14

Analogue

After being hit by global supply chain issues, Analogue is finally ready to ship its retro Pocket console on December 13. And then, it'll reopen sales on December 14 at 11 a.m. ET. Orders are placed into three fulfillment batches — January-March 2022, October-December 2022, and 2023 — on a first-come, first-serve basis. The console gets a price increase of US$20 "due to industry wide component price increases."

If you want to check what the console offers before buying, Analogue says reviews are coming out on Monday. The Analogue Pocket is a handheld console that lets you play Game Boy, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, and Atari Lynx games from their original cartridges. And if you aren't convinced, you can cancel your order any time before it ships.
