Netflix drops trailer for a Mark Millar comic turned anime super-heist

One of the new anime coming to Netflix seems like a mix between Suicide Squad and the Ocean's movies, as Mashable puts it. And that seems like an apt description. Super Crooks is a new anime adaptation of a 2012 comic by Kingsman and Kickass creator Mark Millar. It follows Johnny Blot, a newly released ex-con who has superpowers and the desire to use those abilities to pull off a heist.

The new trailer shows us the anime style of Bones, the anime studio behind My Hero Academia. Super Crooks is coming to Netflix on November 25, with all 13 episodes dropping at once. Each episode lasts for around 30 minutes.

Google TV app rolls out in Canada and 13 other countries

If you were waiting for the replacement of the Google Play Movies & TV app, your time has finally come. Google is rolling out the Google TV app in Canada and 13 other countries. It's now much easier to see the shows and films you're watching on different streaming services. And when you save movies and shows to your watchlist when searching on Google, these will show up in the app.

Google TV's rollout means you can use the app as a remote for your Chromecast with Google TV or other Android TV-powered devices. That will make it easier for you to navigate the interface of your Android TV and do things like inputting your passwords using your phone's keyboard instead of having to do so on your TV screen. Android 11 and 12 devices will also get an option to add a remote tile to your phone's quick settings for easier access. If it hasn't made its way to you yet, the rollout period is happening "over the next few weeks."

Watch Gal Gadot beat up both Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in new 'Red Notice' trailer

Gal Gadot is kicking ass and taking names in the new trailer for Netflix's upcoming heist movie, Red Notice. We're given a 3:32 clip of Gadot taking on both Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in a fight scene that's both action-packed and ridiculous, setting the tone for the film. Johnson called it "Netflix's biggest movie, ever" during the Tudum live stream event, where he introduced this trailer.

Johnson plays an FBI profiler in the movie who's tracking down the world's greatest art thief (Gadot) with the help of "the greatest conman the world has never seen" (Reynolds). He teased that in Red Notice, "nothing is ever what it seems." The movie hits the streaming service on November 12.
