User's who have been wating to experience what it is like to visit a Microsoft Store might soon get a chance to have a sampling by visiting their neighbourhood Future Shop location. A slide shown during a media event for Future SHop today shows a rendering of a Microsoft Store within a store concept in what looks to be a Future Shop location. iPad mini and 4th generation iPad now at TELUS and Rogers

People considering 4G-LTE enabled versions of Apple's iPad and iPad mini can now consider getting them through TELUS or Rogers. Both carriers have informed us that they are carrying the popular tablets in their stores.

TELUS is offering a number of simple data and payment plans providing its customers with the option to share data with family members across multiple devices on the same account. With the TELUS Easy Tablet program, customers can purchase their new tablet for a low upfront price and pay off the remaining balance over a set term in equal monthly payments.

Rogers is sweetening their deal with a special offer for customers who get their brand new iPad before July 7, 2013 at participating locations: they can get up to $100 off over 10 months on select wireless internet plans. More info on this promo and on our range of wireless internet plans on www.Rogers.com/iPad

Read then get rid with Privatext

“This message will self-destruct in…”is becoming a recurring theme in messaging these days especially after the wake of the NSA snooping scandal. The new private texting app, Privatext, promises to secure your texts and photos messages with its self-destruct function. It erases your message from your phone, your recipient’s phone, as well as Privatext’s servers after an appointed period of time or after it has been read. It can even delete messages you already sent before they are read by your recipient, if you act fast enough.

It is already up for free download on the iTunes App Store with versions for Android, Windows, and BlackBerry supposedly coming out soon. Privatext is also offering a paid version of the app for businesses.
