Meet the 'Phablet' - Samsung's new 5.4-inch Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet

Samsung's brought back the PDA or at least innovated the thin space between large smartphones and tablets. Revealed recently at IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin), the stylus toting smartphone features an HD AMOLED screen that's not too different from the Retina Display but with a form factor, size and notepad capability that's sure not to attract any patent lawsuits. Is there a place in the world for a 5.4 inch smartphone?

Review: Sony Tablet S 16GB WiFi

Sony has put an interesting spin on its first and much anticipated Google Honeycomb device. The oddly contoured and shaped much like a folded magazine, Sony Tablet S ($499 for 16GB and $599 for 32GB), actually serves to unify Sony's various product lines and aims to make waves in the tablet space.
