See the VW I.D. Buzz Microbus drive around at Pebble Beach

We've already heard the rumour that the VW I.D. Buzz Microbus EV concept will be put into production for a 2022 rollout and while the concept vehicle brought a huge nostalgia factor to visitors to past car shows, this is the first time we're seeing the VW I.D. Buzz Microbus in its natural habitat, the Californian shores. A video shared to Facebook by David Bernardo shows the EV driving along with classic VW's. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 EV concept is a love letter to open-air motoring

The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, revealed recently at Pebble Beach, is an audacious and lavish two-seater open top cabriolet. It is 19 feet long, features a 750 horsepower electric engine with a proposed 200 mile range and it can presumably charge to 60 mile range in mere minutes with the right supercharger.

Mercedes is merging the practicality and inevitability of EV powerplant but on a nostalgic platform that's all about the joy of driving in an open-air soft top cabriolet. While it is unlikely that the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 will go into production, many will applaud the application of EV technology on platform that's all about performance the exhiliration of pure motoring.

YouTube now has a ‘Breaking News’ section on homepage and in mobile apps

With people using YouTube more and more to see Breaking News, we aren’t surprised that the streaming service dedicates a section to it within its homepage and app. A Breaking News carousel should start showing up on top of your feed. On the web, it looks similar to recommended channels or Watch It Again carousel that’ll let you scroll through to see the current big events. On mobile, it shows up as a scrollable carousel between suggested videos. We don’t know if the content here is curated or populated algorithmically. And whether it’ll just show up when breaking news happens or it’ll stay up to keep us informed what’s happening around the world.
