The city of Ottawa partners with Waze to share its traffic data to help provide drivers with improved real-time updates during their commutes. Ottawa will be offering traffic data related to crashes and construction, allowing drivers to plan their routes better. The city says in a press release that the combination of Waze user submissions and traffic information will help provide more accurate information regarding road conditions.

Waze has partnered with other cities like Toronto and Montreal in Canada and New York and San Francisco in the US for this program. The partnership is also part of Ottawa's Smart City plan, where they plan to use innovation, technology, and leading practices to improve residents' experience when it comes to getting information and accessing services in the city.

OxygenOS 10.0.7 coming to the OnePlus 7T to improve camera performance

The latest OxygenOS 10.0.7 update brings some needed improvements to the OnePlus 7T, including improved camera quality and the November security patch. OnePlus also throws in some bug and stability fixes along with RAM management optimization. The update also fixes the black and white screen issues some of the phone's owners are experiencing. The launch speed of the apps has also been improved.

One weird thing about the update, though, is that it shows up as 10.3.0 on their phones. OnePlus is aware of this problem and will let users know once they've fixed this issue. OnePlus 7T owners should be receiving the update notification now, so keep your eye out for it.

Spotify pushes for podcast listening with new feature

Do you want to listen to podcasts but don't know where to start? Spotify is adding a button to free users' homepages that will ask them what topics they're interested in so that the streaming service can suggest podcasts for you to listen to. These will only show up for users who have never listened to podcasts on the service before, and it'll only be available in Canada, Brazil, Denmark, the US, Ireland, Great Britain, New Zealand, Sweden, Mexico, and Australia. The topics will differ by country and user, because recommended shows will be based on factors, including local popularity.

With Spotify's acquisition of Gimlet Media, Parcast, and Anchor, as well as creating teams to develop exclusive shows, Spotify wants as many people to listen to their content. But the streaming service wants to clarify that they won't just recommend their shows.

Baby Yoda comes to 'The Sims 4'

Even The Sims 4 can't escape the famous and adorable Baby Yoda, or The Child as he is known on the Disney+ show, The Mandalorian. And it isn't even a mod. The little creature comes with the latest update of the game. Maxis seems to have kept this a surprise as it doesn't appear in the newest patch notes.

The Child appears as a sculpture in the game, and it can be found in the Build/Buy mode under "Sculptures." Or you can just type Baby Yoda in the search function. He's named "The Child Statue" in The Sims 4 with a description, "This statue is a lovable replica inspired by the Disney+ live-action series, The Mandalorian." Now, if we can only get him as an actual baby to adopt in the game, then that would be perfect.
