‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’ comes this November 15th

Respawn just announced that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming this year—November 15th, to be exact. The single-player game follows Cal Kestis, a Padawan trying to escape from Emperor Palpatine’s command to kill off the Jedi. There is no gameplay video yet but the company teases an “innovative” combat system that has melee combos and, as expected, lightsabers and the use of the Force. You’ll need to do use acrobatics to counter enemies as well as solve puzzles along the way. They promise you’ll get a mix of new and “iconic” places, equipment, and foes. The game is coming to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The new Acer Predator Helios 700 comes with a transforming keyboard and trackpad

The Verge

One of the new machines Acer launched at Next@Acer is the Predator Helios 700. This larger version of the Helios 300 features a keyboard and trackpad that slides forward towards the user. The trackpad can then also be tilted down to form a palm rest. Acer introduces this new “HyperDrift keyboard,” which adds an interesting design element but also exposes the fans to boost performance and cooling. The keys are new “MagForce keys” that come with linear switches. Acer claims these are more precise than traditional models.

As the flagship of the Helios line, this laptop comes with a 17.3-inch 1080p display, 9th-gen Intel Core i9 processor, and either the NIVDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or 2070 GPUs (not the Max-Q design). You can configure this up to 64GB of RAM and up 1TB SSD or 2TB hard drive. This is a massive machine though at 1.64 inches thick and weighing 9.9 pounds.

If you want to see what’s happening at Coachella, as usual YouTube is streaming select performances from the music festival over at Coachella’s YouTube page. There’s even a Schedule option so that YouTube can alert you when your favourites are performing. Some of the big names performing today include Childish Gambino, Bazzi, Maggie Rogers, Tame Impala, and Kid Cudi. For the second weekend, YouTube will be hosting a “curated live experience,” which might not offer as robust or customizable a stream as the first weekend, but if you want to catch the highlights, you could then.
