UNIQLO launches collection of Nintendo UT Grand Prix winning designs 

If you're a fan of UNIQLO's UT line and an even bigger Nintendo fan take note! UNIQLO announced today that it will begin selling all 25 winning designs from its Nintendo themed UT Grand Prix 2017 design competition. 

This year's Nintendo themed contest attracted a record 16,000 entries from around the world. Participants were invited to create original T-shirt designs inspired by the gaming company's most iconic games and legendary characters such as Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, as well as Kirby, Splatoon, and of course, Pokemon.

Apple releases series of inspiring YouTube short films for Global Accessibility Awareness Day 

According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 7 people in the world are living with some sort of disability. As May 18th is recognized as Global Accessibility Awareness Day internationally to bring awareness of those who face challenges every day.

Apple has just released a series of powerful short films on YouTube. The beautiful and creative videos profile people from various backgrounds and ability challenges to show how tech has impacted their lives. Philips Hue turns the lightbulb completely on its head and manages to bring such a vast range of possibility in terms of lighting homes, offices, commercial spaces and any place that's in need of smart illumination.

Netflix download zones are coming to Ontario cottage country

Heading up to cottage country or a weekend getaway sounds like bliss. Family bonding time looking for toads, makng s'mores on an open fire, potato salad...it all sounds like a slice of heaven. But the drive in traffic isn't always fun and "are we there yet?" is often MY repeated question on any road trip.

If you have small kids you may be interested in learning that Netflix and Rogers will help with those lengthy drives by offering "Download Zones" across Ontario this summer at various locations. Parents can now download hours of entertainment for the family to enjoy on the drive- all without breaking your data plan.  I think it's also great for those down-times when you just needed a break or on a rainy day.
