Apple Pay, Apple's mobile payments platform tied to iPhone and Apple Watch now has 1,000 US card issuers as it makes a push to get more retailers into the fold. The company only has 998 banks and credit unions, but other issuers include retailers BJ's Wholesale Club and Kohl's. The service is available in 2 million locations and is also expected to expand into new countries like Spain and China. Apple Pay is available in Canada but only for American Express customers. Audi and VW recall Q5 and Tiguan crossovers to replace Takata inflators

Audi and VW are recalling  734 examples of the 2015 Tiguan with production dates between January 15, 2015, and January 21, 2015, and the 2015 Q5 built between January 13, 2015, and February 3, 2015. What is being replaced are airbag inflators that can rupture after a crash.

This recall is the latest one of many for Takata related airbag issues. Honda recently recalled 2.2 million cars due to faulty Takata airbags. A side airbag ruptured in a 2015 Tiguan in June 2015, and the driver sustained slight injuries under the left arm. The person didn't need to seek medical attention. VW and Audi will advise owners on the recall.

Moto 360 (2015) to get Marshmallow treatment

For second-generation Moto 360 users, you’ll soon be getting Android Wear’s latest update as they’ve started rolling it out to the wearable device. Motorola posted a changelog for Moto 360 (2015) that introduces features like Doze, new wrist gestures, improvements on general performance, and support for granular app permissions. It also supports six new languages including Cantonese, Dutch, Indonesian, Mandarin, Polish, and Thai. The update even adds support for Android Wear for speakers but the Moto 360 doesn’t have speakers on board so don’t expect it to speak to you.

Instagram might soon let you manage multiple accounts

If you’re a business owner who manages both your business’s Instagram page while keeping your own account or are of the younger set who keeps “fake” and “real” accounts, things might get easier for you soon. Much like what Twitter allows you’ll be able to switch between multiple accounts. Instagram confirmed they are testing the feature on its iOS app and users on that platform have started to see it. Instagram started doing this for Android users back in November. But it’s still not an official feature and they won’t say when it would become official.

Those who see the new feature will see an Add Account option in the app’s settings. Once you enter the second account, you’ll see a new menu at the top of your profile page and push notifications will show which Instagram account has some activity.
