Hyundai recalling 10,800 Genesis coupes for detached driveshafts

Hyundai is recalling 10,800 Genesis Coupes manufactured between December 28, 2011, and April 6, 2015 for an issue affecting the differential, which could be misaligned with the crossmember of the rear suspension. In such cases, the bolts securing the differential may loosen, and could lead to the driveshaft disconnecting entirely, resulting in complete loss of propulsion.

Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will verify the proper assembly of the differential, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on January 11, 2016. Owners may contact Hyundai's customer service at 1-855-671-3059. Hyundai's number for this recall is 135.

Google Drive improves search feature

It’s now much easier to look for the files you need on Google Drive. The new search feature of the cloud service lets you use things like words within files, file types, name of its owner, date modified, and whom files have been shared with. The feature is coming to Android, iOS, and the Web. On iOS, it even allows for deep linking, meaning you can even do the search right from the iOS search bar. Google is rolling this out over the next few weeks so just been on the lookout for the update.

‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ gets its first full trailer

Twenty years after the first film came out, the aliens have come back. And while Will Smith isn’t making a comeback, we see a lot of the old cast and some new faces taking on the aliens. We get to hear the original film’s iconic speech along with images from the new one showing just how much has changed in the past two decades. Jeff Goldblum’s David Levinson said it the best in the trailer, “That is definitely bigger than the last one.”
