Thanks to a deal by Netflix Canada, the streaming service in the country will be the only one who can stream the highly anticipated Star Wars film next year. Canada’s the only one who has secured streaming rights for Star Wars: The Force Awakens as their deal with Disney includes 2015 releases. Under the terms of the deal, it will happen about eight months after the movie leaves theatres. With the film debuting this December, we should expect it around August. The US premium cable channel Starz has an exclusive output deal with Disney that runs through the end of the year, Netflix’s deal with Disney kicks in for 2016 title so no new Star Wars for them.

But while The Force Awakens won’t hit other Netflix queues soon, the company is working on bringing the older Star Wars films to its service.

Duffle Pack 1.0 helps you lug around your gear

Venque, a Kickstarter-born company and known to make convertible bags, is out with a new multi-functional bag that you can take on the road or in the gym. The Duffle Pack 1.0 makes use of the company’s signature Quanta fabric. It also has two handle directions and seat belt-grade straps. It features an external slide-through compartment that you can hook onto your luggage handle for easier transport. As mentioned, this can also work as a gym bag. It has a shoe organizer to fit your footwear or your dirty clothes. This organizer is waterproof, meaning the sweaty gym wear won’t affect the other things inside your bag. The Duffle Pack 1.0 also comes with two straps to convert this duffle bag into a backpack.

The Kickstarter project has already reached its $10,000 goal with 35 days remaining. If you want in on the action though, you must pledge $195 or more to get the Duffle Pack 1.0. Estimated delivery period is in December. They’re also selling a new large volume backpack called the Alpine Rucksack that can even fit your camera in. You have to pledge $185 or more to get one of these.

Helium brings picture-in-picture mode for web videos on OS X

Watching web videos while you do other things on your desktop usually requires you to resize the browser window until it’s the size you want it to be. With Helium on Mac, it allows you to overlay web videos and look similar to the picture-in-picture mode of iOS 9. This can be used for videos from the likes of YouTube, Netflix, and all the other video streaming services online. To use Helium, you have to use Safari and install the necessary plugins. You can also drop the URL of a video into Helium and then it’ll play this for you.
