Google updates weather card on Google Now, shows multiple cities in one card

The weather card on Google Now used to be multiple stacks to show different cities. But Google has changed that and opted to place multiple cities in a single card. Of course, it initially shows you the weather in your city but if Google Now knows you will be traveling, it will show you the weather in those places you will be going to. We like how it provides a quick glance at all that information you will need. The update is supposedly rolling out so expect to see it on your Android device soon.

Start brings another customizable lock screen to Android

If you’ve been looking for an alternative to Cover or your basic Android lock screen, Start offers you an alternative you might want to check out. This lock screen replacement lets you access your favorite apps and social feeds as well as make calls and text messages without leaving your lock screen. Start lets you choose what relevant apps you’d like to see on your lock screen. It also has mini versions of apps for things like Twitter, Facebook, and your news feed. You can also tweak the lock screen to suit your style and taste. It is also designed to work with your phone’s security features and it lets you specify only what things you can do while your screen is locked.

LG officially debuts G3 flagship smartphone

LG has finally introduced its latest flagship smartphone following months and months of leaks and speculations. Called the G3, it follows in the footsteps of last year’s G2 device and is said to be a product of the company’s “Simple is the New Smart” concept. It features a “Floating Arc” design idea with an ergonomic arch to the device and slim side profile. It is supposedly ergonomic for one-handed use. The rear key has been redesigned for the G3 to have a more premium look and feel to it. LG also revamped its user interface to match the externals of the device with a flatter, more minimalistic look to the device along with circular elements taken from the idea and shape of LG’s logo.
