First Impressions of the Cookoo Smart Watch

The Cookoo smart watch is a Kickstarter project pioneered by Canadian Peter Hauser. Called 'the watch for the connected generation' it is designed to integrate with iPhones and Android smartphones via Bluetooth to show users alerts, tweets, chat messages, emails and calendar notifications when the phone is muted. It is also a platform unto itself and can be made to work with any number of apps.

MacPhun's phenomenal Snapheal Mac App just got picked as one of 2012's best apps by Apple. This is a well deserved honour for one of the best applications we've tried all year and which can do a better job of cleaning up digital photos than many, more expensive applications out there. BlackBerry 10 coming soon and Rogers is all in. The carrier announced today that reservations for the as of yet unnanounced BlackBerry 10 devices is open so folks who have been waiting can now put their name on the list for when the devices and the new OS roll out on January 30th.

Nexus 4 shortage traced to 'scarce and erratic' supply by LG

The highly desirable but indefinitely unattainable $309 Google Nexus 4 flagship smartphone has been in notoriously short supply since it launched a month ago. The devices have been out of stock for the most part and while they have been made available on occasion, supplies sell out within minutes.
