Lumias for all: The Lumia 920T, the Lumia620 and the Mexican Lumia 505

There's been a lot of buzz today surrounding Nokia's new Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones that are coming to different markets. It seems Nokia is fully commited to being the premiere Windows Phone 8 handset maker with the news of the Lumia 920T (China), the entry-level Lumia 620 and an exclusive for Mexican market, the Lumia 505.

This is really Nokia doing what has made them successful in the feature phone business. They offer various products focusing on different markets and price points while maintaining a unified feature set. No news on whether any of these variants are coming to Canada which has the flagship Lumia 920 on Rogers.

Google's Nexus 4 smartphone reappears briefly for Canadian buyers

The much desired yet ever-elusive Google Nexus 4 smartphone was made available briefly yesterday at Google's Play Store. As a prospective buyer who signed up to be notified of the Nexus 4's availability weeks ago, I received an email at 1:35PM from Google stating that the Nexus 4 would be available for purchase starting at 3:00 PM Eastern time.
